- Company News
Palletower, the global leading manufacturer and supplier of roll pallets, stillages, and plastic box pallets, is striving and well on the way to operating at net zero . The company is investing further in sustainable practices and technology, which will help reduce its carbon footprint and improve its operational efficiency.

The company’s efforts to go green include installing solar panels on the roof of its warehouses, purchasing more low-emission vans, and extending its use of electric forklift trucks. The solar panels will generate a significant amount of renewable energy, which will power the majority of the company’s operations; reducing its reliance on non-renewable sources of energy.
By investing further in low-emission vans, Palletower aims to reduce its carbon emissions from transportation. The company has also extended its use of electric forklift trucks, which are much more energy-efficient than their diesel or petrol counterparts. These vehicles produce low emissions, which is not only better for the environment but also helps reduce the company’s overall operating costs.

In addition, Palletower are also installing 7kWh car chargers at its warehouse. This move is another step towards reducing the company’s carbon footprint by encouraging the use of electric vehicles. By providing charging facilities for electric cars, Palletower is promoting sustainable transportation options and supporting the transition towards a low-carbon economy. The 7kWh chargers are also a convenient and practical solution for employees and guests who own electric cars to charge them at no cost.
In an industry that traditionally has not been known for its sustainability practices. The market leaders (Palletower) are leading the way by embracing/investing in sustainable practices and technology, in the hope of setting an example for other companies in the industry to follow. Not only looking to sustainably distribute their products, Palletower are looking to do the same with their manufacturing.

Production of Palletower’s Collapsible plastic box pallet (PB484039/BM) has been moved from China to England. This move will significantly reduce the carbon footprint associated with shipping the products. Moreover, Palletower will produce the PB484039/BM product from a recycled composite of plastic, which will further reduce the product’s environmental impact. This product is also fully recyclable at the end of its life offering a closed loop life cycle with no waste product at the end.
